back from rural week.. spent 1 week in Bridgetown...

was rather reluctant to go to bridgetown at the beginning, but it was a VERY GOOD trip that i had. on sunday, we met up for our trip down. it was a 4 hour ride with a stopover at bunbury. had a bbq dinner at nite.. which was nth much for the day. but it was quite fun lar!! as in socialising etc. wanted to skip the social activities but wasnt allowed to do so. we had speed dating which was fun but rather silly. lydia n me kept crapping our way ard..

anw. 2nd dayw as a little more interesting. went ot the natural therapies centre.. we were introduced to some of the therapies there like yoga, crystal healing, foot reflexology, kinesiology, reiki etc etc. all terribly dodgy.. i was like dunno to believe or not.. espeically when i heard about yoga. u noe e controversy abt yoga.. and when i heard abt kinesiology and reiki and reflexology.. all terribly dodgy.. good thing genevieve n me concluded that can't believe.. i think the only thing that can be "used" safely there is massage. that is quite good for relaxation i think.. in the afternoon i went to interview my case study.. was rather short cause not much info cause she was kind of like not very active in natural therapy anymore.. anw. while amanda n me were doing our interview, afew others had a message from the guy in the centre. yup. in the evening, we went to the cidery for the officail shire welcome. well. we din do much der. tried their drinks der *alcohol* and came to the same conclusion as last rd that i will NOT drink unless there is a social event that i think needs drinking. heh. anw. had soup der and dinner back at the lodge and then went on with a game of bridge till rather late at nite.. *fun*

on tuesday was Anzac Day. day to commemorate the ppl who died in the war. we had to go participate in the memorial service.. and then we had the rest of the morning off.. went to the Lucieville farm in the afternoon.. got to milk cows, cook some form of bread etc etc. was quite fun! though like have done it b4. but it was still fun. got loads of pictures!!! had a great dinner as well there.. the place was really nice man!! nothing much on that nite.. ppl watched the anchorman while i went to play more bridge *i think* got chased off to bed cause the previous nite der were guys creating havoc at 3am in e morning...

wed was the most *xiong* one now though i tot it was quite slack at first.. went to the bowling club in the morning and played lawn bowling.. it was very very very fun!!! hahs. i always tot it was a game for old ppl n all but anw. i had fun wif sarah and afew of the older ppl playing the game. hehs..went to the bridgetown district hospital aft dat.. was quite intersting in seeing the way they work.. such a close knit community.. nice. had host family dinner in the evening. gosh. the family i went to had 3 sons. brent 9, luke 7 and sam 5. like the oldest had 5 letters in his name 2nd had 4, 3rd had 3. n dey din eve realise it. heh. anw. its so sad! i forgot to take photos wif em.. gahs. of all times. but i really had a great time wif em. like the boys were so cute!!! they were amused by paper boats that louise made.. den so happen sam was on a "project" using icecream sticks to make a boat, so he continued to make it using the paper pad that we gave them to make his said etc. so fun!! aft dinner, same juz kept sitting on my lap to do wad he had to do.. refuse to sit on the chair. so cute!!! hahs. so i kept him occupied while wilson n lousie kept the other 2 boys occupied. a pity they had to sleep early, so we had a chat wif der parents awhile aft dey slept b4 we went back.. that evening, we played bridge and bluff till much later.. cause the lecturer gave us leeway..

on thus it was juz to the police station *which the cells to hold convics were terrible* and then to the harvey dickson's country music centre. it was SUPER nice.. the kind of things he can do with wood is simply amazing. and his love for elvis presly is also simply amazing. such craze for 1 guy?? kekeke. but i tell u. he is really an expert wif trees n wood work. took loads of pic on it.. *nice nice* we had some games der and like had emma dressed up in our clothes, had kaitlin do an elvis song, and jordon do a stand up comedy.. had to try blowing up those long baloons and do an animal wif it. i wish der was a pump der. i love baloon craft.. hehs. anw. the best that i saw dat nite was a ballet performance frm nish and lydia. super funny. but anw. dey won the prize. kekeke.. more cards for us to play wif. anw. dat nite we played cards till 2 plus den decided to go for a walk so i only slept at 530. *tired*

on the last dat der was a grp presentation and den back. nth much. but it was a great trip. made great frens der. like wad lydia rated the camp in terms of friendships forged. 10/10 hehs. oh yes... afew amusing stuff dis trip was the game called "stupid" that lydia n her sis came up wif. i tell u. it was really stupid.but i think its e most amusing when geneveive n lydia or lydia n nish played it.. and loads of other silly things lar *all in pics* that i shant mention here, but it was really a good trip..

sigh. now it means that we muz start gg back to studying!!! gahs!!! heh kk shall go off for church now.

i can do all things through christ who strengthen me.
